Locust Moon Comics started as a retail store, art gallery, comics festival, and small press in West Philadelphia, just off the University of Pennsylvania campus. We first opened our store in the spring of 2010, and moved a few blocks away to a beautiful new location in the summer of 2012. Our first project as Locust Moon Press, Once Upon a Time Machine, was released through Dark Horse Books in October, 2012. Later that year, we hosted our inaugural Locust Moon Comics Festival. The story and art gallery closed in December 2015, but our publishing work continues.
