The Steranko piece you have here with the nude on her side is not from Chandler, but rather is a print from the National Cartoonists Society Portfolio and is VERY hard to get.
Chandler IS, however, the character in the image.
Steranko calls this his “complete comic story in one image”. It tells the story of a serial killer who strangles women with a silk scarf (the newspaper headline), the story that the killer is a friend of Chandler’s lady friend (2 glasses on the table), the murder of Chandler’s friend, and even gives us the climactic moment just before Chandler meets the killer (the man in the shadows behind the door).
